We appreciate your visit to our website. We fully respect your right to privacy and the need for you to have control of your personal information. It is our goal to make this site function at a level that best serves the needs of our visitors. When you join Musicschool.com as a student-member or teacher-member of Musicschool, Inc. d/b/a Musicschool.com you will be asked to provide personal information in order to participate in our membership network. We never sell or rent our email lists or mailing lists to anyone, for any reason.

Information You Provide to Us: When you place an order, open an account, play games online, participate in a questionnaire, participate in a competition, communicate with customer service or send us an email, you provide us with information that we collect. Such information may include your name, address, phone number, credit card information, competition scores, competition rank and purchase history and, when you send a gift to another person, including giving another person an account, the same information for such other person.

Other Information We Receive and Store: We also receive information from you as a result of your visiting our site, sending us emails including your IP address, your scores, the time you spend on our site, your email address, your browser type and version, your operating system and platform, your purchase history, products or people you view, products you search for, length of visits to pages and other browser interaction information.

Use and Disclosure of Information We Collect:When you choose a screen name, it is very important that you choose one that does not reveal your personal name as otherwise that information could be disclosed as a result of activities on our website. We will use and disclose your information only as follows: (1) to permit you to arrange and pay for music lessons online; (2) to confirm and ship your orders; (3) to follow up to make sure such orders are fulfilled; (4) if, in the course of placing an order and/or entering a contest, you opt to receive occasional emails from us notifying you of special offers, we will use such information to notify you of such offers; (5) if, in the course of placing an order and/or entering a contest, you opt to receive occasional emails from third parties to whom we provide your information, we will disclose such information to such third parties; (6) to protect the rights and safety of us, our shareholders, members, officers, employees and customers; (7) at our option, to notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy or our other terms and conditions of this website (you are bound by the terms of any changes we post to our website whether or not we notify you by email) and (8) as otherwise required by law. When you signup for membership online your credit card number will only be used to process your payment - not for any other reason whatsoever. The same applies if you purchase any other products on the site. We do not keep your student member credit card information on File as a convenience for the student. All credit card transactions are initiated by the student only.

Teacher Members may publish their personal information on Musicschool.com at their own discretion.

Musicschool.com reserves the right to use all photographs, text and website links posted by teachers on our website for advertising and promotional purposes. All content submitted to MusicSchool.com will be held in a queue until published or denied by MusicSchool.com

In joining MusicSchool.com as a member teacher and listing your information with MusicSchool.com including, photographic images, website address, physical addresses, and other personal information you give the general public the right to contact you at any time for any reason including music lessons. You agree not to use Musicschool.com as a forum to sell personal music lessons, musical equipment you might be selling or buying, any audio/DVD or CD’s for sale, and/or other information about performance schedules etc.

We exist as a music school. Our music school allows you to list specific contact and other relevant information. As such all information you give us to list is your responsibility. Musicschool.com is not responsible for any errors or omissions.

Musicschool.com reserves the right to edit, cancel, reject or discontinue any teacher information or membership or membership account at any time for any reason.

You have access to your Musicschool.com online account at any time to edit, change, update, add or delete.

Any original information or content authored by you that you submit to us for publishing other than your personal listing becomes the property of Musicschool.com. We do not accept outside 3rd party copyrighted material for inclusion on Musicschool.com.

Member teachers or member students may cancel their membership at any time in writing with your username and/or acct ID or email address. Your information may remain on our website until your renewal period) comes due at which time your information will be deleted by Musicschool.com. You may renew or extend at any time.

Third Parties on our Site: Our site may contain advertisements, references and links to other web sites and organizations. We may also use third parties to display or serve advertising on the site. Often these third party advertising companies employ cookie and web monitoring technologies to measure advertising effectiveness. You should be aware that different rules may apply to the collection, use or disclosure of your information by third parties in connection with their advertisements, promotions and other web sites you encounter on the internet.
